G/Y4-68 Centrifugal Fans
G/Y4-68 centrifugal fans are series products that were designed by experts from various centrifugal fans companies in 1982. The fans are used to force draft or induce draft for steam boiler(less than 230t/h) in thermal power plant. G4-68 fans could be used in ventilation in mine or other places, if without any other requirements. The G/Y4-68 centrifugal fans are of high efficiency, low noise and high-strength.
When fans is used to force draft, the air temperature can not exceed 80℃; when fans is used to induce draft, the gas temperature can not exceed 250℃.
A dedusting device, whose efficiency should not be less than 85%, must be used to dedust the gas that will go into the induced draft fan.
The single inlet fan has 7 models: №8,9,10,11.2,12.5,14,16. Each of them can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. If you face the fan from the motor side, the impeller rotates clockwise, it is called “right-rotating”fan; the impeller rotates counterclockwise, it is called “l(fā)eft-rotating”fan.
The angle of discharge of every fan, no matter its rotating direction,can be one of six angles:0°,45°,90°,135°,180°,225°.
The fan use direct drive, the couplings are used to connect motor and fan directly.
The fan consists of the impeller, casing, inlet, adjusting door and drive device.
Impeller: 12 backward airfoil blades are welded between tapered wheel cap and flat wheel disc. There is a wear-resisting backplate between blades and wheel cap of the induced draft fan. The head of blade is solid. The wearing parts are protected by surfacing weld layers. The impeller will be static&dynamic balanced. All of these make the impeller stable and long life.
Casing: Casing is a volute that is welded by steel plate. There are two kinds of casing. One is a whole, №8~12.5 fans have whole casings, another is removable, quarter of the casings of №14、16 fans could be removed. For the induced draft fan, there will be a dedusting door on the volute, and volute will be thickened to avoid dust-wearing and prolong its life.
Inlet: The streamlined and undivided inlet is bolted at the casing entrance.
Adjusting door: It is used to control the fan capacity. Every adjusting door of №8~12.5 fans is consist of 11 petal blades, every adjusting door of №14,16 fans is consist of 13 petal blades, all blades are in front of the inlet, they can rotate flexibly from 90°(closed)to 0°(open). The handle of adjusting door is on the right side if you see from the inlet. For “right-rotating”fans, down position of handle means closed position, up position means open position. For the “l(fā)eft-rotating”fans, up position is the closed position, down position is the open position. Lubrication is necessary for centrifugal fans. For forced draft fans, calcium-sodium base grease is applied, for induced draft fans,molybdenum disulfide high temperature(260℃)grease is applied.
Drive device: all fans are direct drive, the drive device is consist of the shaft, bearing-housing and coupling. The shaft is made of high quality steel. Water cooling system is used to cool the rolling bearing housing of the induced draft fans, so the water piping is needed. The volume of cooling water varies according to ambient temperature, generally, 0.5~1m3/h is suitable. There are thermometer and oil indicator on the bearing housing. 30# turbine oil is applied as lubricating oil. Oil volume should refer to the oil indicator.
G/Y4-73 Boiler Centrifugal Fans
The G/Y4-73 centrifugal fans are used to force draft or induce draft for 2~630T/h steam boilers in power plant. G4-73 fans can be used in coal mine to force draft if no other requirement.
When fans is used to force draft, the air temperature can not exceed 80℃; when fans is used to induce draft, the gas temperature can not exceed 250℃. Each of fans has only one inlet. Both G4-73 fan and Y4-73 fan have 12 models of №8~28.
A dedusting device with efficiency no less than 85% must be used to reduce the dust load of gas that will go into the induced draft fans. D drive, the couplings are used to connect fans and motors.
The fan consists of impeller, casing, inlet, adjusting door and drive device.
Impeller: 12 backward airfoil blades are welded between tapered wheel cap and flat wheel disc. If in same model, forced draft fans and induced draft fans have same impeller construction.
Casing: casing is a volute that is welded by steel plate. №8~12 fans volute can not be divided. №14~16 fans’ volute can be divided into two parts, №18~28 fans’ volute can be divided into three parts. If the fan is used to induce draft, its volute will be thickened.
Inlet: the streamlined and undivided inlet is bolted at the fan entrance.
Adjusting door: it is installed in front of the inlet, its petal blades can rotate from 0°(open) to 90°(closed) to control the capacity.
Y5-47 Boiler Centrifugal Induced Draft Fans
With the highest total efficiency reaching 90.5%, the Y5-47 fans are used to induce draft for boilers that use various kinds of coals and equip with dedusting device (1~20ton/h). The highest temperature can not exceed 250℃.
Now, there are many kinds of boilers, boilers use different quality coal and equip with different dedusting devices, so, the capacity and pressure of fans that are used to induce draft for boilers vary greatly. For this sake and saving money, belt drive(C type) is applied to all fans, except fans(D drive)that induce draft for 20ton/h boilers. In this way, a fan can rotate in different speeds to meet the demands of boilers with different dedusting devices, so, there is no need for too many fans models, and customers could change the rotating speed by themselves according to changing conditions to get ideal capacity and pressure.
Each fan has one inlet. There are 7 models of №4,5,6,8,9,12,12.4.

Y5-48 Boiler Centrifugal Induced Draft Fans
Y5-47 centrifugal fans are used to induce draft for boilers with dedusting device(1~20T/h). The highest temperature can not exceed 250℃. A dedusting device with efficiency no less than 85% must be used to reduce dust load of gas that will go into the fan.
Each fan has one inlet. There are 6 models of №4、5、6、8、10、12.5. The fan can be made to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise.
The angle of discharge of every fan, no matter its rotating direction,can be one of six angles:0°,45°,90°,135°,180°,225°.
The fan consists of impeller, casing, inlet, adjusting door, drive device.
Impeller: 12 backward flat blades of 16Mn, are welded between tapered wheel cap and flat wheel disc. Due to static&dynamic balance, the impeller is stable and high-strength.
Casing is a volute welded by steel plate. A dedusting door is on the volute, so that the dust on the impeller or inside casing can be easily removed.
Inlet: the streamlined and undivided inlet is bolted at the casing entrance.
Adjusting door: the blades look like petal, each of №4~6.3 fans has 9 blades, each of above №8 fans has 11 blades. The adjusting door is installed in front of the inlet, the door can rotate from 0°(open) to 90°(closed).
